General Frequently Asked Arbonne Questions (FAQ)

  • Why Arbonne?

At Arbonne, we focus our attention on more than simply creating effective products; we nurture great sales people as well as use our green initiatives to leave the planet not just as we found it – but better.

Are you looking to transform your life? Arbonne beauty and wellness products are for everyone looking to transform their lives, to live better now and in the future.

  • Are Arbonne products truly organic?

Arbonne products are plant-based, mineral free and chemical free. We believe in selecting the best-of-the-best when it comes to pure, natural ingredients. We stand by our motto of pure, safe and beneficial to the best of our abilities while still creating an effective and safe product.

All of our personal care products are formulated without:

    • Animal products or animal by-products
    • Parabens
    • Formaldehyde donating preservatives
    • Petroleum-based ingredients, like PABA, Benzene, Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, Phthalates, and Toluene
  • Are any of your products tested on animals?

Our products are PETA approved, which means no harmful animal tests are ever performed. We never have and we never will. Our products are tested on our very own consultants, not animals. At Arbonne, we strive to be leaders in our industry when it comes to safety, sustainability, and product quality.

  • How is Arbonne different from other brands like Mary Kay or Avon?

When it comes to brand loyalty and sales, we are ahead of Mary Kay and Avon, even though we have less brand awareness. We believe this is due to our focus on excellence when it comes to customer service and the quality of our products. We are considered a premium skin care brand, something that similar companies don’t offer. I always encourage new clients that ask this question to try our products and let your skin tell you how much it likes it!

  • How do I find an Arbonne Consultant in Edmonton?

If you don’t already have an Arbonne consultant, I’d be happy to help you! I currently have clients in United States and Australia. I would love to find business partners in Great Britain and Poland. Arbonne is also beginning our planning of moving in Taiwan in 2015. Of course, Canada, and specifically, Alberta where I was born, raised, and continue to live with my wonderful family.

Arbonne Products FAQ

  • I’ve tried Arbonne before and my skin reacted with a breakout – what does that mean?

Unfortunately, most off-the-shelf beauty products are chockfull of pore-clogging ingredients like mineral oil. Once you begin using Arbonne products, specifically the serums, they work to rid your face of this oily buildup, which can cause breakouts. Everyone experiences this differently, but if you haven’t been on a natural skin regimen before, there could be a 2-week transition period. If you really listen to your skin, you will start to notice the difference once you switch to Arbonne products.

  • I don’t want to buy the whole line; can I pick and choose my products?

Your best results come with using the full line. Each product goes hand-in-hand with the other. Skipping over products in a specific line will not get you Arbonne’s researched results. For instance, if you want to use our popular RE9 Advanced Anti-Aging line, it is imperative that you follow all five steps and utilize all of the products (cleanser to toner, serum to eye crème, as well as the day/night crèmes) in the line to achieve the results you want.

  • What if I really can’t afford the whole product line?

Wash, toner, moisturizer are the most important components of any face care line. I wouldn’t recommend any less than those three for any line.

  • I use the RE9 Advanced Anti-Aging line for men, but I still need something for my under eye, what do you suggest?

You can actually use the Corrective Eye Crème from the women’s line to correct any dark circles, fine lines or puffiness. Another interesting use for the eye crème is to apply it around the corners of your mouth where fine lines form over time, especially if you happen to be a smoker.

  • I wear a lot of lipstick, on a daily basis, what do I need to know about your lipstick?

It only takes 15 to 30 seconds for product to be absorbed through your lips. Many lipsticks contain lead, petroleum bases, animal byproducts, and even gluten that are harmful when absorbed on a regular basis. Our products never have, never will. All of our lip lines are completely chemical free, vegan, and gluten free.

  • Can I run my Arbonne business part-time?

Your time is yours. Becoming an Arbonne consultant means working your business around the things that are important in your life. You can work part-time as long as you work consistently, whether you are a stay-at-home mom or run a small business. Arbonne makes it possible to be able to attend your child’s events or other special events. This is not your typical 9 to 5, Monday to Friday job. You can walk, you can jog or you can run doing this business. The choice is yours, and the rewards are based on what you put into your business, which is the same as any work except that you are directly awarded at Arbonne for your commitment.

  • I run a nail or hair salon; massage studio or spa, etc. How can I incorporate Arbonne into my Edmonton business?

If you already have a captive audience, it is easy to incorporate Arbonne products as a side business. Your customers already know and trust you. Many business owners feel uncomfortable about selling their products on the side because they view it as ‘upselling’ their clientele. However, if you say ‘try’ this versus ‘buy’ this, your customers will be grateful that you introduced them to a great product, and if not, that’s okay too.

Also, becoming an Arbonne consultant is a great way to add another stream of income without having to pay any extra overhead expenses. Your doors don’t have to always be open to be making money. As a consultant, you also save money on all of the products you order, and as you grow, you can start to save even more.

  • Does Arbonne have a retirement plan?

Arbonne is my retirement plan. My business can be ‘willed’ to my family. This is not common in our industry. Arbonne rewards their consultants by truly making this your business and when you leave this mortal existence…your business and your monthly income will continue to flow to your assigned estate. Also, the flexibility and lack of stress make it a great choice for anyone looking to add income, whether or not you still work another job or you are already retired. Arbonne offers a very generous compensation plan that will help you maintain your lifestyle leading up to and throughout your retirement. I could truly do this work forever…

  • Where do I find customers?

Be the friendliest person in the room and actually care about others. Listen more than you talk. Be passionate about people and Arbonne’s product line. Take samples wherever you go and share your discovery with others. It will never be a problem to find new customers and those customers will find customers and the ball keeps rolling.

Share products rather than sell products. Be living proof of the product’s results. Naturally, your friends will want to know why your skin looks so amazing. At that point, you can introduce them to Arbonne. I also encourage consultants to organize regular social gatherings and attend networking events to expand their customer base. Get out there and meet others.
